Welcome to K.C Cosmetix where lip gloss is the specialty! I’m Kari, the ceo & founder of K.C! To start off, I was Born on October 3rd, 2007. I’ve always knew I wanted to be successful but didn’t know how. I’ve bounced from wanting to be a singer, a doctor, a nurse, etc but one thing that never left me was being my own boss and having my own business. The first time I tried to become my own boss I was 12 years old living in Ohio (2020-2021 COVID times) being stuck in the house you get creative. I would watch all of these women opening up small businesses and become successful and I was in love with the independence they had. Being your own boss, doing what you love, AND having fun while doing it?? Sounds like the perfect job to me‼️. I started looking at things I should sell and I started getting into makeup at this time as well
and one thing I noticed is that I never left the house without some gloss on and some gloss in my bag. I started doing research on how to start a gloss company and I started buying supplies and making my own glosses. As time went by, I finally got the courage to open up a ig and TikTok account for my business to get it out there. My first ever business name was “shopwithkayy” a cute first time name but I had to change it because I didn’t want cute, I wanted BIG
Billboard big! I changed it again to “Kay’s Cosmetics” but on the same account. I sold under that name for 2 and a half years. I ended up becoming unmotivated with my business because I didn’t see the results I wanted to so I ended up closing the shop to figure out how to better my business and this is my fresh start. New page, new tubes, new brand, new me. Welcome to K.C, the new and improved version of us. A team of sellers & customers.
